Learn 6 Creative Photo Ideas for Easter you can recreate and take inspiration from every single year! Seasons and Holidays are a content creator’s best friend. These serve bloggers as inspiration when it comes to making seasonally relevant content. For example, if it’s autumn, you will probably think about taking some cute Instagram photos at the nearest pumpkin patch, or a photo wearing your cozy brown sweater holding the Starbucks coffee you got in the morning, or even a trendy photo where there is a crunchy leaf pile somewhere in frame.
However when we think about Easter, colorful eggs and pastel colors probably come to mind. Now, how can we go further than this and actually create fun, colorful and creative photos with just THAT as inspiration?
In this blog post, I’ll show you and explain Six Creative Photoshoot Ideas for Easter that will give you inspiration that will last a life time.
Feel free to come back next year too, it will be here.
EASTER STICKER EDITS
You don’t have to run to the store to buy colorful easter eggs nor spend time scouting for pastel walls all over town. You can literally create anything you envision for your easter photoshoots by using creative edits! My favorite app to find seasonally relevant stickers is @picsart! You can use their search button and write specific keywords for easter such as: “easter”, “easter eggs”, and “easter aesthetic”.
A BATH FULL OF EGG-CITEMENT
Next, put your creative juices in motion and think about editorial easter photoshoot ideas at random places people wouldn’t usually think about or take a photo in. In the photo you see above, I literally had the idea and vision while I was taking a shower to put on a colorful swimsuit, take out the easter eggs that were stored in some bin around my apartment, fill the bathtub with water, add some bubbles, throw the colorful easter eggs on the water and because I wanted to be extra, throw on a pair of orange heels to accompany the look. Swimsuits? Eggs? Bubbles? Bath? and Heels? Who would have thought about that?! Make some magic happen! I know you are capable of it!
THE EASTER BUNNY IS HERE
The third creative photoshoot idea for easter in the one you see above and for this photo, I got inspired by @madcrayy. I literally just took a normal photo holding some plush carrots in front of a white wall (which I colored blue on Lightroom Desktop) and used the app PicsArt to search “bunny ears” or “easter bunny ears”. Then, I took a couple of minutes to adjust the sizing and color of the ears to match my head and the overall photo look. I hope you love the final look as much as I do!
EASTER AT HOME
Want to stay inside your home? No problem! Take a white or whatever colored bedsheet and use it as a backdrop for your photo. Wear a colorful outfit and use easter home decor props to fill out the entire flooring of your photo. Some of my favorite easter props include: woven baskets, ceramic bunnies, colorful easter eggs, easter house signs, and baby chicks toys! It’s the perfect easter hunt!
JORDAN ALMONDS FOR THE WIN
This photo was inspired by @tezza! I sat down on my kitchen chair and placed some flowers to my side, an easter mug and I filled it up with some colorful Jordan Almonds that look like easter eggs. The idea of this easter photoshoot is to look as if I was eating the colorful almonds like cereal. So fun!
EASTER PARK PHOTOSHOOT
Last but not least, take all of the easter home decor you bought at Home Goods and Target this year (let’s face it, last year too) and head straight into nature. Lay out a cozy blanket, sit or lay there and make a cute lil’ easter and spring inspired setup with your props around you.
